Portrait Lighting
This is an ensemble of portrait photographs for a lighting class I took in the fall of Junior year. The assignments were meant for us to practice the various technicalities of lighting. Rolling a Joint was my way of familiarizing myself with the equipment available to me; Mixed Emotions was assigned to us as practice for controlling where the light hits; Sunny Afternoon served as an exercise in blending natural and artificial light. This lighting class was extremely helpful in understanding lights in photography and uncovering my career interest in photographing motorcycles, my final project for the class.
